FOUR INJURED IN POSSIBLE DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN HEMPSTEAD
Four people were injured after a shooting early Thursday morning in Hempstead.
The Hempstead Police Department says the shooting occurred at a home in the 400 block of Lafayette Street near 4th Street at approximately 12:30 a.m.
According to police, bullets were fired into the residence and struck four people inside. All four of the victims were transported to medical facilities to receive medical attention, and are expected to survive.
Police have not given details on what led up to the incident or on any suspects involved, but they say it may have been a drive-by shooting.
