BLINN CLASSES, OPERATIONS TO BE HELD VIRTUALLY FEBRUARY 20-26
Blinn College operations will move remotely for a week after the end of the current weather-related closure.
The College is currently closed for face-to-face and remote learning through tomorrow (Friday), with all services closed, aside from food services on the Brenham Campus.
Blinn officials announced this (Thursday) afternoon that all operations and classes, excluding health science clinicals, will take place virtually between Saturday and next Friday, February 26th.
The College said in an update that while rolling blackouts have ended and regular power has returned at the Brenham Campus, water service is out throughout the city and is not expected to return until at least Sunday. It also said once water is returned, a boil water notice is expected to be in place until late next week.
Blinn said it remains fully prepared to support and care for all residents currently on campus. Students who choose to check out of housing temporarily for the upcoming week should contact their residence hall director or email housing@blinn.edu. Students who plan to return to campus before Sunday, February 28th are required to email housing@blinn.edu in advance.
Blinn continues to monitor the situation and will provide additional updates as services are restored.
