BLUEBONNET FAMILY PORTRAITS TO SUPPORT WASHINGTON-ON-THE-BRAZOS

Area families have a unique opportunity to have a bluebonnet family portrait made at Washington-on-the-Brazos while helping to support the important Texas landmark.

Families that donate $350 to the Washington-on-the-Brazos Historical Foundation will receive a complimentary bluebonnet family portrait package.

Flint Photography has partnered with the Washington-on-the-Brazos Historical Foundation to offer families a complimentary bluebonnet family portrait package when they make a minimum donation to the foundation.

Families that donate $350 to the foundation will be given a complimentary photoshoot, along with $600 in credit they can use towards portraits from their photoshoot.  All of the $350 goes directly to the foundation.

Sandy Flint of Flint Photography says there were worries that last month’s snowfall would damage the bluebonnet plants, but they look to be coming to full bloom soon.  Flint says the entire site is about to come alive with spring time color, and that the historic grounds will “make a beautiful backdrop for portraits that will become a family legacy of their own.”

The two-day portrait event will be held April 10th and 11th.  Advance reservations are required, but registration is now open.  Flint says only a few spots are available each day, and time slots are on a first-come basis.
