Faith Mission, the Salvation Army and Blue Bell are teaming up this weekend to hold a disaster relief and community outreach event.
Free, pre-packaged food, cases of water and Blue Bell Ice Cream will be given away from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) in the parking lot at Higgins South in Brenham, located at 2268 South Market Street. There will also be live music.
Property owners who suffered damage during February’s winter storm will be able to get help signing up for assistance from FEMA. The Faith Mission Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program will also be on hand to provide education and benefits.
