WASHINGTON CO. EMS PROVIDING COVID-19 VACCINES IN BURTON
Burton residents will soon have an opportunity to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Washington County EMS has arranged for free vaccines to be administered in Burton, with first doses on Friday, April 30th and second doses on Friday, May 28th. Shots will be available from 10 a.m. to noon both days.
Vaccines will be administered at the EMS Station on Spur 125, at the corner of East Mulberry and North Colorado Streets, next to Burton City Hall.
There is no need to pre-register, and eligible citizens age 16 and older can complete paper applications at the vaccination site. However, the Burton Bridge Ministry is compiling information in order to give EMS a better idea of how many vaccines to provide.
Advance reservations are not needed, but citizens can reserve a shot by contacting Burton Bridge Ministry Executive Director Susie Tommaney at 979-337-3370 or burtonbridgeministry@gmail.com.
