CHAPPELL HILL VFD TO HOST 17TH FESTIVAL, BBQ COOK-OFF
The public is invited to show support to volunteer firefighters at the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department’s 17th Festival and BBQ Cook-off.
The festival is set for next Friday and Saturday, May 7th and 8th at the Chappell Hill Fire Station at 5295 FM 1155.
Planned activities include contests for chicken, brisket, beans and a pork rib shootout.
There will also be silent and live auctions, a 50/50 drawing, a gun card draw, and a free dance with Nathan Colt Young Saturday night, starting at 7:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
