BLINN TO HOLD SOCIAL MEDIA Q&As FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

The Blinn College District invites prospective students and their families to ask any questions they may have about registration, academic advising, financial aid, campus life, and any other topic during weekly social media Q&A sessions taking place throughout the summer.

Blinn officials will answer questions beginning at 6 p.m. each Tuesday on the College’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BlinnCollege1883. They also will be available at 6 p.m. each Wednesday at Blinn’s Instagram page at @BlinnCollege.

“We know that most students have questions as they prepare to begin their college journey, and we want to make it as easy as possible for students and their families to get the answers they need,” said Dr. Diane Lovell, Vice Chancellor for Student Services. “With these social media events, incoming students can get immediate answers to their questions from Blinn staff.”

Registration is available now for Blinn’s May minimester, summer, and fall terms.

The May minimester runs Monday, May 17, through Wednesday, June 2, allowing students to earn full course credit in just a few weeks. These accelerated minimester courses cover the same material as a full-length course, allowing students to rapidly progress toward their degree.

The Summer I term runs Monday, June 7, through Tuesday, July 6, and the Summer II term runs from Monday, July 12, through Monday, Aug. 9. Fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 30.

Tours are available for all five of Blinn’s campuses – Brenham, Bryan, RELLIS, Schulenburg, and Sealy. Brenham, Bryan, and RELLIS tours can be scheduled at www.blinn.edu/future-students/tours.html.
