BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO ADMINISTER OATHS, REVISIT MANUFACTURED HOME ORDINANCE
Four members of the Burton City Council will be sworn in for a new term at the council’s meeting today (Tuesday).
Mayor David Zajicek, Mayor Pro-Tem Nathan Kalkhake and councilmembers Paul McLaughlin and Macey Tidwell will receive the oath of office after they were all unopposed in the May 1st election.
Once they are sworn in, the council will again hold discussion on potentially amending the city’s current mobile home and pre-manufactured home ordinance. The item has been tabled at each of the council’s last three meetings.
Councilmembers will also consider contracting an ordinance officer.
The council will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
