BRENHAM SELECT GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM TAKES SECOND AT TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Select AAU Girls Basketball Team, the Lady Raptors 16U, participated in the PrimeTime “Got Game” Tournament consisting of 8 teams on Saturday, May 8 in Houston.

The Lady Raptors played 2 pool games winning 56-42 against Cy-Fair Elite and 50-19 to the MW Sports Academy-Davis.

This 2-0 record sent them to the final Championship game vs. Elite 365.  The Lady Raptors faced great competition in this final game and came up short 68-49, but got 2nd place in the tournament and their first trophy and medals as a team.

This team is coached by Coach Steven Burns and Coach Ray Heard and the Brenham Select League is coordinated by Coach James Osborne, Jr.
