BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD BUDGET WORKSHOP TUESDAY
Budget season begins for the Brenham City Council tomorrow (Tuesday) with a special work session.
Councilmembers will meet to receive an overview of the 2021-22 Fiscal Year budget and capital debt plan.
The city’s current budget, which was adopted in September 2020, amounts to $68.4 million. The current property tax rate sits at 50.4 cents per $100 valuation.
The workshop will be held tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at the Brenham Fire Department Emergency Operations Center at 101 North Chappell Hill Street.
