GIDDINGS HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES TOP 2021 GRADUATES

Giddings High School has announced the top two students of the 2021 graduating class.
Kailey Burgdorf has been named valedictorian with a grade point average of 4.1745, while Ricardo Melendez Rivera was named salutatorian with a GPA of 4.0982.
Burgdorf, the daughter of John and Rebecca Burgdorf, will major in pharmacy at The University of Texas.

Rivera, the son of Ricardo Melendez and Monica Rivera Lira, will also attend The University of Texas, where he will study aerospace engineering.
The graduation ceremony for Giddings High School is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. at Buffalo Stadium. There are no attendance limits.
