GEOSOUTHERN DONATES $20,000 FOR NEW PLAYGROUND AT BURTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A new playground at Burton Elementary School is closer to fruition after a donation from GeoSouthern Energy.
The corporation presented Burton ISD with a $20,000 check on Tuesday to be used for playground improvements.
Burton ISD Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy said the school district is excited about the new play area for students, and is very much appreciative for the partnership with GeoSouthern. She also said Elementary Principal Melinda Fuchs was “instrumental” in securing this donation.
