AREA YOUTH SHOW LIVESTOCK AT ‘DAIRY DAY’

  

Youth from Washington County and area counties came to the Washington County Expo on Saturday to celebrate “Dairy Day.”

Each year, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service puts on the “Dairy Day” show to teach 4-H and FFA members about dairy cattle.

Dairy judging awards were given to several youth, including:

• Champion Sr. Brown Swiss – Teagan Thompson, Washington County 4-H,
• Champion Sr. Holstein – Amber Molitor, Washington County 4-H,
• Champion Sr. Jersey – Levi Anderson, El Campo Jr. FFA,
• Grand Champion Brown Swiss – Blaine Zapalac, Schulenburg FFA,
• Grand Champion Holstein – Amber Molitor, Washington County 4-H,
• Grand Champion Jersey – Hagan Martin, Rio Vista Jr. FFA,
• Grand Champion AOB – Daizie Ebbens, Johnson County 4-H,
• Overall Supreme Champion – Amber Molitor, Washington County 4-H.
