INDEPENDENCE HOSTING 14TH ANNUAL FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Downtown Independence is getting ready for a day of festivities at its 14th Annual Fourth of July Celebration.
Activities on the 4th begin at 2 p.m. with a trail ride, followed by a parade at 5 p.m. There will also be food booths and a street dance with the Risky Liver Band immediately after the parade.
The day will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Event organizers suggest watching the show at Old Baylor Park, the Independence Town Square, or from any of the county roads in the area.
