CITY OF BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES CLOSED MONDAY FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY
Offices around Brenham and Washington County will be closed on Monday in observance of Independence Day.
Closures include Brenham City Hall and all county offices, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday and for regular hours on Monday.
The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will remain open with standard hours. Residential and commercial trash pick-up will run as normal.
The Brenham Washington County Visitor Center will be closed Sunday, but will be open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why? The fourth is on Sunday, so why shortchange the people with a paid holiday?
