BURTON BRIDGE MINISTRY HOLDING “LET’S DINE OUT!” FUNDRAISER

Over twenty area restaurants are taking part in a local fundraiser.

Twenty-three local restaurants are participating in Burton Bridge Ministry’s “Let’s Dine Out!” drawing.

The restaurants, from Brenham, Burton, Carmine and Round Top, have contributed gift certificates to the cause.  Members of the ministry say they were “overwhelmed at the response.”

Proceeds from the fundraiser help to underwrite Burton Bridge Ministry’s 2021-2022 capital campaign, which has set a goal of raising $250,000.  So far, the Burton-based ministry had raised more than $36,000 for its building fund.

Tickets are $5 each or three for $10 and can be purchased at The Corner Shoppe in Burton, Burton Farmers & Artisans Market, Hair Depot in Burton and at the Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Activity Center.

Winners will be announced July 22 at the board of directors meeting.

Participating restaurants include: Lone Star Southern Grill, Applebee’s Grill and Bar, JW’s Steakhouse, Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant, Pizzaiolo’s Pizza, Smitty’s Cafe and Bakery, Blue Willow Cafe, On Deck Restaurant, Royers Pie Haven, Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Steak House, White Horse Tavern, Nathan’s BBQ, Pioneer Smokehouse, Sealand Seafood and Steak, Teague’s Tavern, Brenham Grill, Brazos Belle Restaurant, Dairy Bar, Las Americas Latin Cuisine, Los Patrones Mexican Grill, Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant and Taqueria, Must Be Heaven Sandwich Shoppe, and Neon Moon Coffee Roasters.
