“Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” brought the party this weekend to downtown Brenham.

The Rocket Brothers Band, an eight-piece variety band out of Austin, entertained crowds Saturday night with an energizing performance, playing hits across multiple genres from the ‘50s to today.

Guests enjoyed food and drinks from local businesses and vendors while also taking a look at dozens of classic vehicles and hot rods during the Stray Katz Car Club’s cruise-in.

Saturday’s concert was sponsored by Briannas Fine Salad Dressing, Associated Credit Union of Texas, Ant Street Inn, and Legacy Concrete Works and Legacy Waste Services.

Coming up this Saturday, a local favorite returns to town, as the Brown Sugar Band will take the stage with its popular blend of Motown, R&B, old school rock n’ roll and today’s music.  That performance is sponsored by Woodson Lumber Company, Citizens State Bank, Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, and Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative.
