SOULFUL TUNES OF BROWN SUGAR BAND ON TAP FOR HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES

The third “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert of the summer will bring the sounds of Motown and old school rock n’ roll to downtown Brenham.

The Brown Sugar Band

The Brown Sugar Band will take the stage tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7 p.m. on the courthouse square, performing its popular blend of R&B, soul and contemporary music.

Food and drinks will be available from local businesses and vendors, and the Stray Katz Car Club will have a variety of classic vehicles and hot rods on display during a cruise-in at the west end of Alamo Street.

The concert is free to the public, and is sponsored by Woodson Lumber Company, Citizens State Bank, Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, and Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative.

KTEX-106’s Crystal Ray will be the host for the evening.
