‘FOR THE CITY’ HOSTING SCHOOL SUPPLY MARKET SATURDAY

A Washington County nonprofit is all set to provide school supplies to students in need.
For The City will host its fourth annual school supply market tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brenham Community Education Building.
Brenham ISD students can pick up free supplies for the upcoming school year on a first come, first served basis. Burton ISD’s supply distribution will be coordinated by their campus principals for another date.
For The City President Tori Bryan says the organization’s goal for this year’s effort is to provide supplies for 1,600 students, including all of the incoming prekindergarten students at the Brenham Early Childhood Learning Center.
