BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO OVERNIGHT CALL AT LOCAL APARTMENT
Smoke damage is reported at a Brenham apartment after firefighters were called out late Monday night.
The Brenham Fire Department was called out to an apartment in the 500 block of Church Street, just after 10:00 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke inside the apartment. A thermal imaging camera indicated an overheated fan motor caused the smoke.
A fan was used to remove smoke from the apartment. There was minor smoke damage throughout the apartment and fire damage to the bathroom and ceiling.
No injuries were reported.
