SHINER CATHOLIC CHURCH CENTENNIAL FALL PICNIC SUNDAY
The Shiner Catholic Church’s centennial church picnic is set for Sunday.
Live music, food, and many other activities will take place throughout the day at the Shiner KC Park at 102 South Avenue G.
Picnic stew, fried chicken, country sausage and all the trimmings will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Live music will be performed by groups like the Shiner Hobo Band, Jodie Mikula, The Czechaholics, Mid-Life Crisis, Southpaw, Shiner’s 2nd Wind and The Emotions.
In commemoration of the 100th fall picnic, the Spoetzl Brewery will offer a special small batch of Labor Day Lager.
The picnic will also feature a big country auction, a cattle auction, a country store, Bingo, games and drawings.
