CHARLES HODDE NAMED 2021 OUTSTANDING AG EDUCATOR BY WASHINGTON CO. FARM BUREAU

The Washington County Farm Bureau named this year’s Outstanding Agriculture Educator of the Year at its 77th annual meeting this week.

Farm Bureau President Larry Winkelmann presented the award to Charles Hodde of Burton.  Hodde’s family and Burton FFA officers joined Hodde in celebrating the honor.

Also at the meeting, members approved policy, elected directors and selected delegates for the state convention.

Policy that was approved at the county level will advance to the Waco policy development meeting on November 1st.  If approved there, it will advance to the annual meeting in Corpus Christi December 3-5.

Reelected as directors from Burton was Ray Meyer and from Washington was Russell Borgstedte, each serving another three-year term.
