SCARECROW FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND IN CHAPPELL HILL

It’s scarecrow season in Chappell Hill.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society’s annual Scarecrow Festival will bring thousands of visitors to downtown Chappell Hill tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday to browse through hundreds of juried exhibitors and vendors while enjoying food and live music.

Event volunteer Joel Romo says the festival will be full of activities for everyone to enjoy.

The festival will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission to the festival is free.  Parking is $10 and is available off Highway 290 and FM 1155, or off FM 2447.

For more information, visit www.chappellhillhistoricalsociety.com or go to the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum Facebook page.

KTEX-106’s Crystal Ray will be at the festival tomorrow morning, broadcasting live from the friendly country cruiser.
