FAITH MISSION TO SERVE THANKSGIVING MEALS
Faith Mission will once again serve Thanksgiving meals to people in need this holiday season.
An in-person meal will be served on Thanksgiving Day at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served in the dining room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Meals will be delivered to residents who are homebound or physically disabled.
Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells said this tradition spans over a decade but was altered last year due to COVID-19. He said Faith Mission is excited that residents do not have to be isolated this season, and thanked the local churches, companies and community members who support the meal effort annually.
Residents who wish to have a meal delivered to them can call Faith Mission at 979-830-1488. Calls for meal delivery will be accepted through Wednesday, November 24th.
Anyone who would like to donate or volunteer to serve or deliver meals can go online to http://faithmission.us.
