SEVEN TRANSPORTED—ONE CRITICAL—AFTER HOUSE FIRE IN BRYAN
Several people were taken to the hospital after a house fire Tuesday night in Bryan.
The fire was reported after 6 p.m. in the 3800 block of Carter Creek Parkway, near Tanglewood Park.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and flames coming out of the home and the attic. A woman was rescued from inside the home.
One adult was transported in critical condition. Another adult and five children were also transported, but they are expected to be okay.
Family members said three pets were inside the home, but they have not been found.
The fire was extinguished by the Bryan and College Station Fire Departments.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
