ARREST MADE IN CONNECTION TO NEW YEAR’S DAY MURDER
A suspect has been arrested and another is still wanted for the shooting of a Bellville woman.
28-year-old Gregory Allen has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the killing of 24-year-old Italia McGregor. McGregor was originally from Bellville and had moved to Houston.
It happened just after 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day in the parking lot of the Five Nine Bar and Lounge on South Wilcrest in Southwest Houston. McGregor died in the parking lot while her boyfriend and another man suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
