BRENHAM CUBS AND CUBETTE SOCCER FALL TO MAGNOLIA
The Brenham Cub Soccer Team wrapped up the first half of district play by losing a heartbreaker to Magnolia last (Friday) night 3-2.
The game was tied 2-2 with 40 seconds to go when the Bulldogs scored on a penalty kick to take the lead for good.
Alex Gutierrez scored both of the goals for Brenham. Claudio Zavala and Manuel Rivera each had an assist in the game.
The Cubs start the second half of district play on Tuesday night. They play host to Magnolia West at 7pm.
Meanwhile, the Brenham Cubette Soccer Team lost to Magnolia on the road 7-0 last (Friday) night. They will be at Magnolia West at Tuesday night at 7pm.
