WARRANT ARRESTS MADE ON THREE OVER WEEKEND

  

Three people were arrested over the weekend on outstanding warrants.

Brenham Police report that Friday 8:55 AM, officers while on normal patrol duties in the 900 block of College Avenue conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver, Miles Davis Jones, 34 of Ledbetter, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Galveston County for Harassment. Jones was taken into custody and released to Washington County Jail.

Saturday afternoon at 2:10 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 290 East.  Merlin Lopez-Nunez, 27 of Austin, was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for a warrant out of the Austin Police Department for Assault with injury family violence.

Then Sunday 12:05 PM, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a crash. During that investigation, it was revealed that the passenger, Patrick Hogan, 51 of Houston, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Harris County. Hogan was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail and released to jail staff.
