BRENHAM POLICE RESPOND TO ASSAULT CALL WEDNESDAY

  

A Brenham man was arrested late Wednesday night on assault charges.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday at 11:30 PM, officers with were dispatched to an Assault at the 800 block of West First Street.  Investigation revealed, Elijah Davis, 63 of Brenham, had allegedly struck the victim with a blunt object causing injury.  Davis was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon and booked into the Washington County Jail.
