FIVE HOUSTON PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY

  

A total of 5 Houston persons were arrested Friday on Marijuana and other charges.

Brenham Police report that Friday at 7:45 PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 3400 block of Highway 290 East. An investigation was conducted and the occupants, Porfirio Hernandez-Cruz, 26, and Maria Figueroa, 19, both of Houston, were both booked in for Possession of Marijuana between 4 Oz and 5 pounds.

Then at 11:00 PM, Officers with the Brenham Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Highway 290 West, on a Black BMW passenger car traveling westbound for a traffic violation.  Further investigation led to the passengers Randell Jones, 18, Juntrell Hubert,18, and Christopher Mills, 20, all of Houston, to be in possession of marijuana. All were placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 Oz.  Additionally, Jones was charged with Criminal Attempt or Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Hubert with an additional charge of Failure to Identify.  They all were booked into the Washington County Jail.
