‘AMOS’ NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named Amos as its Pet of the Week.
Amos is an adult neutered Great Pyrenees mix. Brenham Animal Services says Amos had a rough life before coming to the shelter, evidenced by a neck callus left by the chain he once had to use. The scar is now healed and hidden by his fluffy coat.
Staff members say Amos likes to play chase and heartily enjoys treats. He is currently being treated for heartworm disease, and the shelter has options for continuing his treatment.
Potential pet adopters or fosters can look online at www.petfinder.com to see all of the pets available at the shelter. They can also make appointments to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351 or going to the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.
