MELISSA BOENKER NAMED NEW BRENHAM ECLC PRINCIPAL

The Brenham Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) has named a new principal.
On Monday, Brenham ISD announced the promotion of Melissa Boenker to the position, pending board approval.
Boenker has 21 years of experience in education, 18 of those in Brenham ISD, and most recently served as an instructional coach for Brenham Middle School. She received her Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University in 2012.
Boenker said she is “super excited to lead a campus that has the honor of providing the youth of Brenham with their first Cub experience.” She said she is “committed to providing a safe learning environment where creative minds can grow.”
Former ECLC principal Jillian Wilke was selected last month to be the new principal at Krause Elementary School.
