CUB VARSITY AND JV REPORT FOR FIRST DAY OF FOOTBALL PRACTICES

The Brenham Cub Football Team started practices this (Monday) morning for the upcoming season.

This year is the first season under new head coach Danny Youngs.  The Cubs were able to take an extra week off due to participating in Spring Football.

Youngs said that it was good to see the guys back out there, and ready to go. He discussed what they are going to be looking for during their first week.

The Cub Varsity and JV workouts are scheduled each morning from 6:15am-8:15am, Meanwhile, the Freshmen will practice each day from 3:30pm-5:30pm.

The Cubs will have "Midnight Madness" Friday night at Cub Stadium.  There will be a Varsity/JV intersquad scrimmage that starts at 12:01am Saturday.

Then later in the day, the Cubs have their "Media Day."  It will begin with the Freshmen at 8am, followed by the JV at 9am, and the Varsity at 10am.
