ROUND TOP-CARMINE DUO HAVE TRIPLE-DOUBLES IN SAME GAME FOR SECOND TIME

A triple-double is something that doesn’t happen very often in volleyball. For two players to do it in one game is even more rare.  For the Round Top-Carmine Cubettes, lightning has struck twice in the same season.

On Friday, RT-C lost to Weimar three sets to two. Weimar won the first set 25-14, RT-C won the second two sets 25-16 and 25-20, but Weimar won the final two sets 25-22 and 16-14.

However, for the second time this season, their dynamic duo of Mallory Krause and Jill Eilers once again had triple-doubles in the same game.

Krause had 10 kills, 18 digs, and 32 assists.  Eilers finished with 18 kills, 10 digs, and 21 assists.

The Cubettes also had a double-double from Tess Eilers, who finished with 12 kills and 20 digs.
