TOURISM ADVISORY BOARD TO DISCUSS SHORT-TERM RENTALS

  

Short-term rentals in Washington County will be among the topics discussed on Thursday by the Tourism Advisory Board.

Some of the aspects to be covered in the dialogue about short-term rentals will include growth, a possible change to a Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) collections platform, and consideration of a registration policy.  No action will be taken.

Board members will also hear various reports, including on the Texas Music Friendly Committee, the first round of tourism grants for 2023, HOT collections, the Washington County Expo, and the fourth quarter Visit Brenham Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) report.

The board will meet Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Bullock Ballroom at The Barnhill Center.
