FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED TUESDAY ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Four people were arrested in two separate incidents Tuesday night.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday night at 8:10, Officer Michael Alston was notified of possible narcotics use by subjects in the 1100 Block of Green Street.  Officer Alston approached a parked vehicle and could smell the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and marijuana was located.  Decorien Lamar Lane, 18 of Houston was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Tuesday evening at 11:05, he conducted a follow-up foot patrol of the 1100 block of Green Street.  Officer Alston made contact with four subjects in a vehicle and observed that the vehicle was full of smoke and the odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from inside.  A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and marijuana was located in three separate backpacks in the vehicle. Officer Alston took Dylan Sydney Gotoy, 18 of Katy, Akaila Renea Perry, 18 of Hempstead, and Takeiyah Deshaye Price, 18 of Brookshire, into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported them to the Washington County Jail.
