FAYETTEVILLE BOYS AND RT-C GIRLS WIN DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY TITLES

The District 29-1A Cross Country Meets were held Wednesday at Festival Hill at Round Top.

Fayetteville dominated on the Boys Side with their runners taking eight of the top twelve spots, and delivering a first place finish.

Individually, the finishers for Fayetteville were:

• 1.) Cole Fenhaus
• 2.) Keagan Supak
• 4. ) Mason Fenhaus
• 5.) Kole Schmitt
• 6.) Connor Price
• 8.) Jake Kubala
• 11.) Daniel Hopkins
• 12.) Cash Smith

Meanwhile, on the Girls Side, it was Round Top-Carmine taking the District Championship.  Individually, they had ten runners finish in the top 15 to finish in first place.

Individual finishers were:

• 4.) Mallory Krause
• 5.) Avery Nelius
• 7.) Daylin Pitts
• 10.) Tess Eilers
• 11.) Bayley Pitts
• 12.) Makayla Smith
• 14.) Jill Eilers
• 15.) Gretchen Sacks

While Fayetteville did not have enough runners to qualify for the team competition, they did have Jeslyn Moralez, who finished second and Devynn Moeckel finished eighth.  By finishing in the top 10, they also qualify for the Regionals.
