ELEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Eleven people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell in District Court this week.

Jenise Djeree Benjamin, 23 of Cypress, after a hearing was sentenced to 2 years’ probation for Harassment of a Public Servant and Assault of a Public Servant.

Bobby Ortega, 31 of Somerville, was sentenced to 10 months in State Jail for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info. Less than 5 items and Credit or Debit Card Abuse.

Edwin Dewayne Bender, 40 of Houston, was sentenced to 641 days in State Jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info. Less than 5 items.  He was also ordered to pay $500 in restitution.

Kiley D. Corby, 33 of Brenham, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 2 counts of Theft Property less than $2500 with 2 or More Previous Convictions.  She was also ordered to pay $297 in restitution, perform 200 hours of community service, and serve 61 days in the Washington County Jail.

Mark Anthony Gonzales, 27 of Brenham, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fineand perform 100 hours of community service.

Terrell Duane Nickerson, Sr., 60 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

Anthony Alderete, 30 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Kimberly Gilmon Moore, 52 of Burton, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  She was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine, perform 150 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victim.

Kerrence Lakeith McDonald, 36 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Joshua Stevens, 42 of Texas City, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Kevin Vega Martinez, 25 of Pflugerville, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info. Less than 5 items and Fraudulent Possession or Use of a Credit or Debit Card.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
