WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER UPDATING EXPO RENTAL RATES

The Washington County Commissioners Court has several items on the agenda for their special session meeting on Tuesday.

Three of the agenda items involve the Washington Expo.  The items include updating the rental rates, approval of pending contracts, and whether or not to accept the donations of tables, chairs, and associated technology from the Washington County 4-H for use at the Expo.

The commissioners will also be discussing a reimbursement for the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department for the replacement of a fire truck engine.

Other items include purchasing 12 radios from Motorola Solutions for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the approval of a position description for the courthouse deputy, and adopting a Citizen Participation Plan for Washington County.

The Commissioners will also meet in executive session to discuss incentives for Economic Development purposes and the possible offer of financial or other incentive to Project Katydid, a business seeking to locate, stay, or expand in Washington County.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am in their Chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
