Fifty copies of a new book authored by Reverend Randy Wells of Brenham have been donated to the Washington County Jail as a way to help the incarcerated find healing and rebuild themselves.
Local church leaders who minister and provide weekly sermons at the jail gathered today (Thursday) to present the book, titled “Few Fathers – 6 Principles for Training Boys to Become Men”. The books were donated by Washington County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Douglas Zwiener.
Rev. Wells says he hopes these books are able to support those at the jail as they work to reintegrate themselves back into society.
Rev. Wells recently released the book and is traveling across the country and abroad on a book tour, with stops in Texas, Louisiana, California, the Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and Illinois.
