TWO KILLED, CHILD INJURED IN HEAD-ON CRASH IN BURLESON CO.
Two people were killed and a child was injured in a head-on collision Saturday evening in Burleson County.
The accident occurred just after 5 p.m. on FM 908, roughly nine miles south of Rockdale.
According to DPS, a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was driving south on the wrong side of the road and hit a northbound 2002 Toyota Tundra head-on.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 45-year-old Chad Barcak of Rockdale, and the driver of the Toyota, 47-year-old Kenya Beckett, also of Rockdale, were pronounced dead at the scene by Burleson County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Johnny Towslee.
A 4-year-old child traveling with Beckett was flown to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston in serious condition.
