SIX PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Six people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.

Luis Alberto Hernandez, 37 of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle.

Felix Zepeda Andrade, 41 of Brenham, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to probation of 5 years, with 30 days spent in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation for having a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or More offences.  He was also ordered to perform 150 hours of community service and wear SCRAM device upon his release from jail. He was also convicted of Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence and was given time served on that charge.

Lafayette Aretth Smith, 32 of Houston, was sentenced to 6 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.

Brandon Lynn Weige, 39 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Burglary of a Building.  He was also ordered to pay $500 fine, $170 in restitution, and perform 100 hours of community service.

Galina Semenova Mossbarger, 27 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for having a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.

Petric Vanessa Castillo, 50 of Washington, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours community service.
