BELLVILLE POLICE ARREST HARRIS COUNTY MURDER SUSPECT

A suspect that attempted to kidnap a woman outside a Bellville convenience store has turned out to be wanted by the Houston Police Department.

Bellville Police arrested a man who originally gave his name as Jesus Duarte Ramirez on Wednesday after he tried to force a woman into his truck in the parking lot of the Seven Eleven.

He fled the scene after seeing Police arrive.  The pursuit ended on Kenney Hall Road.

Ramirez was seen snorting large amount of cocaine as officers tried to apprehend him. 

Bellville Police have announced that after working with Houston Police and through the sharing of the Facebook posting following his arrest in Bellville, the true identity of Ramirez was revealed to be 44-year-old Ausencio Garcia Herrera. 

Herrera was wanted in connection with the stabbing death of a woman at her home in Southwest Houston. 

Herrera has been charged with Attempted Kidnapping, Evading Arrest/Detention, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in Austin County.  He was also charged with Murder in Harris County.
