MURDER INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR TEEN ACCUSED IN DEATH OF COLLEGE STATION MAN

A Brazos County grand jury on Thursday indicted a teenager who is accused of murder in the death of a College Station man in January.

17-year-old Censear Solomon, who Brazos County Jail records say has lived in Brenham and Hempstead, is one of three suspects that College Station police say are responsible for the shooting death of 26-year-old Rashawn Jones.

Police say the shooting happened during a targeted home invasion on January 3rd in the 400 block of Southwest Parkway.  

Solomon was booked into jail on January 10th after a murder warrant was issued.  The arrest was made with assistance from the Hempstead Police Department.
