BELLVILLE MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

A Bellville man was arrested Saturday on drug charges.
Brenham Police report that Saturday evening at 5:30, Officer Myles Masters initiated a traffic stop in the 100 Block of Martin Luther King Blvd. for a vehicle equipment violation. Investigation revealed that the driver, Parker Wayne McDonald, 22 of Bellville, was in possession of narcotics and open alcoholic beverages in the vehicle. McDonald was transported to the Washington County Sheriff's Office and booked in for Possession Controlled Substance and cited for Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.
