CLEAR THE SHELTERS MONTH BEGINS AT BRENHAM PET ADOPTION CENTER
Brenham Animal Services is getting ready to participate in another year of a nationwide pet adoption initiative.
The annual Clear the Shelters campaign, held in partnership with NBCUniversal Local and Telemundo-owned stations, will take place throughout the month of August.
All month long, adoptions at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center will be discounted to $50.
The shelter’s big event will come on Saturday, August 26th from noon to 4 p.m., with free pet adoptions, free microchipping, snow cones, a bounce house and appearances from the Brenham Police and Fire Departments.
Since 2015, NBCUniversal Local’s Clear the Shelters campaign has helped more than half a million pets find new homes.
