BRENHAM CUBETTES SWEEP KATY TAYLOR IN HOME OPENER

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team kept right on winning as they swept Katy Taylor in their home opener on Tuesday night.

The Cubettes swept the match 25-14, 25-17, and 25-16. The victory improves Brenham to 3-0 on the young season.

Charli Crowson led the team on offense with 14 kills and 19 assists. She also finished with nine digs.

Lillie Thibodeaux added 10 kills and 4 blocks.

Sienna Kelm chipped in with 4 aces and led the defense with 17 digs.

Kristen Kuehn had 13 digs and 7 assists.

Averi Frazier also dished out 11 assists.

Next up, the Cubettes will be taking part in the Round Rock West Wood Tournament, which runs Thursday thru Saturday. On Thursday, they are scheduled to face Clear Lake at noon, followed by matches against Liberty Hill at 2pm, and New Braunfels at 5pm.

Their matches are being played at Cedar Ridge High School.
