BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS TO TWO ACCIDENT CALLS MONDAY
The Brenham Fire Department was called out to a pair of accidents on Monday.
The first call came in just before 3 p.m. in the 2300 block of Old Mill Creek Road, where there was a report of a crash with entrapment. Units arrived and found a vehicle in the tree line. Firefighters and EMS opened the door and removed the patient from her vehicle. The woman was transported via ambulance in unknown condition.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of Brown Street, where they discovered a vehicle had struck a gas meter. Units turned the gas off to the meter and waited for the City of Brenham gas department to arrive on location.
