TEXAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL BEGINS THIS WEEKEND
The Texas Renaissance Festival kicks off its 49th season this weekend in Todd Mission.
The festival runs every weekend from this Saturday to November 26th, offering 16th century food, shopping and fun.
New this year at the festival is the Dragon Forge Experience, an interactive blacksmithing adventure. There are also numerous new shops and entertainers joining the hundreds of existing vendors, musicians and performers.
Each weekend has a unique theme for festivalgoers to take part in, with this weekend’s being The Queen’s Birthday. Future themes include 1,001 Dreams, Pirate Adventure, All Hallows Eve, Heroes and Villains, Barbarian Invasion, Highland Fling and Celtic Christmas.
