TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested Wednesday in separate incidences on drug charges.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 8:00, Officers were notified by a caller that there was a male subject following the caller around town.  Officers located the vehicle in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street, that was still following the caller, and stopped the vehicle.  During the investigation Gabriel Rodriguez, 46 of Brenham, was shown to be in possession of a controlled substance.  Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then early Thursday morning at 12:20, Sergeant Jimmy Ha, conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Highway 290 West. During the traffic stop a probable cause search was conducted, and marijuana was located in the vehicle. The driver Leonard Watson, 30 of Houston, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 OZ.  Watson was transported to the Washington County Jail.
